The module of scientific English puts focus on the teaching of the English language in relation to the scientific branches, in this case the field of bioclimatology, climatology and Biometeorology

Scientific English is particularly interested in the teaching of terminology, scientific productions, like scientific texts, articles, abstracts, oral presentations, etc..

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this module the student will be able to:

• Find and use the appropriate vocabulary to each context.

• Understand and use advanced grammatical concepts. 

• Write structured argumentative texts.

• Work on the analysis and writing of a scientific article. Methodology, vocabulary.

• Elaborate of abstracts and preparation of posters.

• Prepare and present  an effective oral communication (presentation of article or project).
